Learn the very basics in Excel including worksheets, cells, columns, rows and

to create charts. Finally, we will use the IF function to make decisions and
work with large worksheets. All this and more in this first level of Excel.

QuickBooks
QuickBooks is Easy to Learn, Use and Customize, even if you don't have very much
experience with computers or accounting. Just take this class offered by
HAL-PC's Staff Accountant, Marie Jones, and learn how to use QuickBooks, the most widely used accounting software package in the United States. It's time that you mastered QuickBooks once and for all!

Care and Maintenance of your PC. Keeping your PC healthy requires a little bit
of basic maintenance. In this instructor led class you will get some of the
information to keep your system running and giving it a longer life. Tips,
tricks, ideas, and instructions on maintaining your PC, and its components. All

Introduction to PHP
Join HAL-PC's Database Administrator, Anne Sipes, and learn the basics of using
an HTML-embedded scripting language. PHP stands for PHP: Hypertext
Preprocessor. Much of its syntax is borrowed from C, Java and Perl with a
couple of unique PHP-specific features thrown in. The goal of the language is to
allow web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly.

hands-on, instructor lead learning experience about the Internet and some other

The A+ Certification Course is suited for computer users who have basic
knowledge and experience with PCs and are looking to upgrade their skills in
order to successfully perform as an entry-level computer service technician. The
A+ course offered at HAL-PC is a 10-day class that prepares students to take the
two A+ exams: Core Hardware (220-201) and OS Technologies (220-202).
A+ Certification is a CompTIA-sponsored testing program that certifies the
competency of entry-level (6 months experience) computer service technicians.
The A+® exams contain situational and identification types of questions. All of
the questions are multiple choice. There is either one answer for each question,
or the question identifies how many answers you should select. The test covers a
broad range of hardware and software technologies, but is not bound to any
vendor-specific products.
The program is backed by major computer hardware and software vendors,
distributors, resellers and publications. A+ certification signifies that the
certified individual possesses the knowledge and skills essential for a
successful entry-level (6 months experience) computer service technician, as
defined by experts from companies across the industry.
The test is divided in to 2 parts - Core and OS
