Rick Archibald has been using WebMail? as his only e-mail access for almost 3 years, and also is the Volunteer Help Committee contact for WebMail?.

Hands on WebMail? labs in the HAL-PC Learning Center will be offered if there is enough interest.

WebMail

Did you ever wish you could read your HAL mail account at the club or on the road? Well you can, and we will show you how.

It's called Webmail, and every HAL mail account has it. It doesn't matter if you are a HAL-PC member or a HALNet subscriber, you can access your mail from any computer that has a browser & an Internet connection.

Topics include:

  • Logging on
  • Setting up your account
  • Reading messages
  • Writing messages
  • Your address book
  • Sending messages
  • Saving messages
  • Deleting messages
  • Spam strategies
  • Where to get help

There will be two 2 hour lectures and an optional 1 hour hands-on lab.

Instructor: Rick Archibald

Lectures September 2nd & 9th, 7 pm to 9 pm  (Doors open at 6:30)

Labs (in 7 one hour blocks) September 13th, 9 am to 6 pm

Class Fee (lecture only): $30.00
