Installing a Linux Time Server on a small Home, Home Office, or Business LAN
which contains a mixture of operating systems.
For reasons I will not (boringly?) elaborate on here,
it is considered a "Good Thing™" to have all the computers on a network on the same time.

It is also desirable (another "Good Thing™") to have no more than 2 of them getting their time from the 'net.
- Because more than 2 is a waste of other peoples' resources, and therefore impolite.
- Because more than 2 may be a waste of your own resources, and therefore stupid.
