Hal Clement Memorial Page

May 30, 1922 — October 29, 2003

Mr. Stubbs was my academic advisor from 1956 to 1959, and later my Chemistry teacher. He was one of the sometimes unsung greats of hard science fiction. When Eric Raymond came to Rice in March of 2002, his was a name that impressed ESR.
